AJ Laser 105

I have been flying my AJ 105 Laser for about 3 months and I´m really happy with this plane. This is like a big patter plane with 3d capavility, if you are looking to get a plane that can be use for IMAC and 3D this is the one. Quality is very good in general, pre-hinged will save you a lot of assembly time and wing and stab bags are amazing! This is my set up: DA120 stock mufflers Savos 1270 all around (except rudder with 2290) Falcon prop 28x9.5 1.75 servo arms

Equipped my AJ 105 Laser with a GP123 engine and a Mejzlik 27 X 12 3 blade propeller on a set of front dump canisters. I am thrilled with the result. The plane tracks straight and does exactly what I ask it to, nothing more, nothing less. Plane has unlimited vertical and is a joy to land.

From the packaging to the finished product, I have to say this is a first class product. All the hinges installed and gaps sealed sure does save a lot of time not having to do this mundane task. All the covering was tight and sealed perfectly. Everything fit together as you would expect. The structural quality is great. I really can't think of anything that I would complain about with this model. It flies great, it's strong, there are no bad tendencies, it does exactly as you expect it to do when you grab a bunch of stick. This by far is my favorite 100cc plain to date.

Best. Airplane. Ever

First impressions are everything when it comes to an ARF airplane. With so many different manufacturers out there, it is a relief to finally have an airplane that has been thoroughly well engineered from the ground up. I have never had an ARF airplane that is as complete as this airplane is and with everything fitting exactly as intended (they even included high quality wing and stab bags!). No fussing with this or that, everything fit perfectly from spinner to tail, this truly is an airplane that is Almost Ready to Fly out of the box, and boy does this airplane fly! It is capable of performing everything you can imagine: high energy wide open throttle rolls and snaps as fast as you can fly, down on the deck nitty gritty old school tail draggin' 3D, precision flying, IMAC, this airplane was designed by one of the best in the industry and it really does show in the air. I have never flown an airplane that is as stable as the 105" Laser 230Z, whether it's upright, inverted, or on its side you will instantly be comfortable with this airplane. The recommended Desert Aircraft DA120 is also a perfect match to the performance of the airplane and perfectly compliments the flight characteristics when a lightweight carbon fiber propeller is used (I recommend the Falcon 28x9.5 carbon, it seems to be the ideal prop!). I am looking forward to many more flights with this airplane, and can't wait to replace my entire fleet of aircraft with AJ Aircraft airplanes. Up your game, with AJ Aircraft!

Lazer 230z , 105 Reflex

Absolutely can't say enough about this aircraft. From the friendly staff at AJ's to the packaging and delivery, everything was outstanding. The kit is very good and the extra hardware is good just in case you need it. It flies as good as it looks. On my maiden flight there was only one click of elevator and the plane was trimmed. Very nice and stable in the air. This plane is the best giant airplane I have every flown and I have been at this for over 40 years. I will certainly be a return customer.

Truly Amazing Airplane

This is by far my favorite airframe to date! I have yet to find a higher quality airframe than the Aj planes and the 105 laser is no expectation. They did an amazing job all the way from the nose to the tail in regards to quality, flying characteristics and overall beauty. Paired with a DA120 and MKS777hv servos this plane is a beast. Its one of those planes where on the maiden flight you know your going to love it and instantly feel comfortable with it like you been flying it for seasons past. All this coupled with the new reflex scheme and this plane is a true winner in my book!

One of the best flying,..I`ve flown most of them,..tracks great,.very stable in high alpha no wing rock, easiest torque roller, superb knife edge. 1231 Savox servos all around, Da 120 with falcon 29x9w cf prop.Check the engine template when building,...way,way off.

Construction superintendent

Th enew 105 build was very straight forward and everything lined up well. Covering was very nice along with most of the hardware. I did not like the ball links, so I replaced all of them(1 broke and did not trust them and they all needed to be drilled out) the carbon was ok along with the canopy. The carbon spinner is nice but not usable with the carbon back plate. Here in Minnesota the flying season has not started yet so no flying opinions yet. With the thinner wing design, I look forward to the maiden. The plane is awesome.

WOW - this thing rocks

I have now owned 4 35% planes and fly them 3~5times weekly. I have now got 50 flights on this plane and can say that this is the best one I have. I have planes from both EF and PAU and this plane is definitely better than the other ones I have. Rock solid in high alpha - no wing rock what so ever. Flown it in 25miles winds and yet this things fly like it has a built in gyro. Low rates - best IMAC plane. high rates - very good low and slow 3D plane. Mid rates - very very good XA plane. Very light and still very strong. I have flown it with a GP123 with a 27X11 at 7100rpm on the ground and stressed it into crankshafts , blenders KE spins on regular flights and no hiccups at all. The build process was the easiest of all my builds. Also comes with so much extra hardware not seen from other manufacturers.
