Description
Whether you're looking to go out and do some 3d huckin' or lay down a smooth-as-butter precision flight, the 93" Laser 230z is for you! The wings have been thoroughly refined to allow precision flying, while not sacrificing any 3d characteristics. With a generous fuselage height, the model flies as well on its side as it does upright. Generously sized control surfaces give you excellent authority at all speeds. The Laser 230z features an awesomely light but strong airframe and a light wing loading that will handle anything you want it to.

Building the airplane is very straight forward. The rudder cables are pre-installed, hinges are pre-glued and sealed. AJ Aircraft goes the extra step to make it easy to get this bird in the air in no time flat. Mounting options designed right into the airframe make it a snap to setup with pull-pull or push-pull rudder configurations. Stand-offs perfect for the DA-70, a gas fuel tank and even a bag of extra hardware are all included. High quality parts including dual G10 fiberglass control horns, carbon fiber wing tubes and heavy duty ball-links and turnbuckles ensure you won't need to spend more money replacing cheap hardware.

This 30% airframe was designed around the DA-70 or equivalent, with lots of room for this beast of an engine without having to cut holes in the side of your cowl. Mounting templates are included for the DA-60/70 and 3W-50 to make engine installation as easy as can be. A full length pipe tunnel and 3 different pipe mounts gives you the ability to easily add pipes to tame your DB levels. Trust us when we say once you go full throttle with this baby, you won't want to slow down! As with its siblings, you'll see this is designed with next-gen building techniques to handle the punishment of todays 3D and extreme aerobatics with confidence.

Prefer electrons over ignition? A Hacker Q-80 with 10-12s lipos will have the Laser screaming across the field. The crazy power and instant throttle response of the Q-80 makes the 93" Laser 230z a 3D/XA pop-toppin', tumblin', knife edge spinnin' insanity machine! Whichever you choose, we're sure it'll put a smile on your face every time you fly it!

Rating Perfect for IMAC - and everything else

I've had this plane for a few years now, have a number of hours of time on it, have taken it to several IMAC competitions and can tell you without a doubt that this is a fantastic competition plane that keeps up with bigger & much more expensive planes with ease! The DA-70 with canister is extremely quiet, which is great for my sound scores! Plus I love that when I'm feeling it, I can flip to high rates and practice my 3D without a second thought.

Rating Great everything plane!

The plane arrived in perfect condition as the packaging was better than any aircraft I've purchased. Assembly was a breeze. The DA70 mounted up as advertised...perfectly and quickly. Canister fit perfectly as well. Only two flights on it so far, but can tell you this thing flys incredible. The maiden consisted of rolling harriers, two knife-edge spins, waterfalls and then the usual checks. All maneuvers were effortless and the plane reacted exactly how you want it to without quirks. No surprises, very solid and controlled feel coming out of maneuvers. Power is perfect even at my 4,800ft elevation field. Cant wait to get out again!!

Rating 93 inch Laser Review

My Reflex scheme Laser is my second AJ Aircraft, the ARS 300 was my first. The packaging that the Laser arrived in was flawless after the truck trip and all contents were in perfect condition. The covering job was flawless, nice and tight with good overlap joints. The ship went together perfectly with good hardware you can actually use. I powered it with a DA70, the perfect engine for the Laser. I was hooked with AJ Aircraft after the ARS build, and now with the Laser, I have an ultra smooth aircraft which does exactly what is asked of it. It draws silky smooth lines in the air. I have recommended this airplane to all my club members, and at this point we have three different ones flying, plus a couple of ARS airplanes. I would like to thank the folks at AJ Aircraft for a quality product which looks as good on the ground as it does in the air. I am totally sure the Laser will give me plenty of hours of pleasurable flying.

Rating Outstanding Aircraft

With a DA-70, 90mm drop Y-header, Pro-Flow large cannister and Falcon 25x8 prop you cannot beat this aircraft. I resisted buying this aircraft for months because I felt it was UGLY. I then flew a friends on a bet and fell in love with it, sold my EF airframes and am totally committed to AJ. Today this aircraft is BEAUTIFUL, nothing tracks like it, responds as predictably or as forcefully. With this setup you do not need a 100cc.

Rating Best plane I have ever flown.

This is the best plane I have ever flown, running it on the hacker Q80-8m and the Jeti master mezon 135 opto. Two 6s elite series 5000 MAH thunder power lipos. This is the perfect setup for this plane, it comes out super light and huckable. My two complaints with this plane are as follows It makes me look like a much better pilot than I actually am. All the other planes I own are virtually unneeded. If you are thinking about getting into giant scale 3d get the 93 electric. I also have the 105 running on the da120 and recommended setup, and it comes in a close second. But seriously, buy this airplane, you will not regret it.
