The all-new AJ Aircraft Acuity was designed to give you all of the precision flight abilities of expensive composite aircraft, in a more traditional balsa & plywood frame. Designed by our own F3A pattern champion Andrew Jesky, this 62" model will be a perfect introduction to competition pattern aerobatics. With a tall & slender fuselage, slim swept wing and T-Canalyzer on the canopy, the Acuity will slip perfectly through any aerobatic maneuver. And, the suggested electronics setup will work perfectly with the 5&6s 4000-5000mAh packs you likely already own.

Rating Recreational R/C Pilot
Quality of the 62" Acuity is top notch and assembly instructions are very easy to follow. My first flight required only a very small amount of elevator trim and nothing else as I'm flying with a 6s, 5000 mah battery and a 3s flight battery with a voltage regulator and a back up flight battery, just in case. The 6s battery is placed against the wing tube. It required absolutely NO mixing at all to hold a rock solid knife edge in either direction and the only mix I have, is a slight amount of down elevator with throttle off on a vertical down line (which is normal for most planes). Five second slow rolls are totally predictable as are rolling circles. I'm very happy with this plane and members of the two clubs that I belong to are impressed with the plane, makes a mediocre pilot look good!!!!! Keep up the good work and high quality!!!

My plane was nicely packaged with no damage. The kit went together as per the instructions. The fit and finish is great. The plane flies great, very smooth. The only little problem was the slot for the horizontal stabilizer. Itís not sized perfectly, leaving a little gap. Itís just a minor problem and does not really detract much from the finished plane

Rating Great airplane
This is the great plane for learning pattern or just practice plane. I have a 100 ft landing strip at my house and no problem taking off or landing on it, Very stable plane dose what you tell it to do.

Rating My Acuity performes every bit as well as I hoped it would.
What a great airplane. If you want an airplane that tracks perfectly, does exactly what you tell it to do, lands like a dream and makes it all look easy, then this is the plane for you. Everyone that takes a turn on the sticks wants one. There are a couple of improvements that I will suggest for AJ and crew. The slots for mounting the aileron and elevator control horns require a lot on work for correct positioning and installation of the control horns. The second area that could use improvement is the leading edge of the slot for mounting the horizontal stabilizer. The shape of the leading edge of the slot is not a perfect match for the shape of the stabilizer. This does not interfere with installation, but it does detract from the appearance of the completed aircraft. I suspect both issues are more a result of the manufacturing process instead of design, but if they can be corrected the plane would be even better.

Received the Acuity 62 and have about 8 flights. Nice build, and plenty of room inside. I used the pull-pull rudder system and it was easy to install. directions were easy to follow and the quality is superb. Plane flies great, very little trimming was needed so far. I look forward to getting back into to local pattern competitions very soon. I am using 5S -5000 mah packs and get easily 7 minutes of flight time.
