I have two other 'big name' pattern planes in this size class. This plane shames them. On the first flight, no trim needed. NONE... It is in 'the groove' right from the start. The first flight jitters ended by 10 seconds into the flight. I'm 69 and have been in the hobby my whole life. I am not a pattern flyer, but love how they fly. This plane makes me look oh so much better than I am. ...and lands as light as a feather. This is my 3rd AJ plane. ...Next up? the 2M plane. |

The bad-build quality is a little low. The pre drilled holes in the landing gear did not line up with the pre installed t nuts.Stripped out the first nut, then I just made the holes bigger on the rest so the bolt would go through. The canopy latch doesn't latch. The holes for the side canopy screws dont line up. Had to make the holes on the outside bigger and looks like crap. This plane is $100 more than the EF 60" planes, so I was hoping for better quality. The good- the covering is excellent. It flies great and looks good in the air. |

I flew pattern I the eighties. The technology and performance has come a long way since then. This ARF represents today’s best in a simple kit with great performance. |

Good quality kit, light!
Best packaging I have seen, your kit is safe during shipping, no worries there!
Some odd design choice like, gluing plywood on aluminum gear reinforcement in the fuselage had me having to cut my brand new fuselage to re-glue the plywood properly in place (welding a nut in place would have been a way better solution).
Not a beginner kit however, manual could live with an update.
Flying wise it's a pattern plane and flies like one. My only wish would be to have the incidence of the wing adjustable.
Overall very nice machine, great look, good quality and above all, best plane manufacturer service I have ever encounter! |

Quality of the 62" Acuity is top notch and assembly instructions are very easy to follow. My first flight required only a very small amount of elevator trim and nothing else as I'm flying with a 6s, 5000 mah battery and a 3s flight battery with a voltage regulator and a back up flight battery, just in case. The 6s battery is placed against the wing tube.
It required absolutely NO mixing at all to hold a rock solid knife edge in either direction and the only mix I have, is a slight amount of down elevator with throttle off on a vertical down line (which is normal for most planes). Five second slow rolls are totally predictable as are rolling circles.
I'm very happy with this plane and members of the two clubs that I belong to are impressed with the plane, makes a mediocre pilot look good!!!!!
Keep up the good work and high quality!!! |

My plane was nicely packaged with no damage. The kit went together as per the instructions. The fit and finish is great. The plane flies great, very smooth. The only little problem was the slot for the horizontal stabilizer. It’s not sized perfectly, leaving a little gap. It’s just a minor problem and does not really detract much from the finished plane |
